Application Process

Application for Lease 

  1. Applicants must obtain a copy of The Rules & Regulations of The Berkley South.  These may be obtained from the owner or purchased from the management office for the price of $10.
  2. CLICK HERE to complete the application for lease.  Please enter property code 5188.  
  3. The screening company will complete an investigation and notify the management office when the process is complete.  Then, the Screening Committee will review all information and the applicant will be contacted by the management office for an interview.  The complete process may take up to 30 days.  
Note to owners wishing to lease their unit:
  1. The Berkley South has reached it's cap on rentals.  Therefore, owners wishing to rent their unit must be placed on a wait list.  The management office will contact you once you are approved to place your unit up for rent. 
  2. The owner must submit a common areas security deposit in the amount of $1,000 made payable to The Berkley South Condominium Association, Inc. that will be held in a non-interest bearing account.  Please attach the signed Common Areas Security Form to your check.  CLICK HERE to access the Common Areas Security Form.
  3. The owner must submit a signed Rental Payment Rider to the management office.  (The lessee will also submit this same form during their application process.)  CLICK HERE to access the Rental Payment Rider.
  4. The applicant will be notified in writing the day of their interview on their approval status.

 

Application for Purchase

  1. Applicants must obtain copies of the governing documents of The Berkley South.  These may be obtained from the seller or purchased from the management office.  The price of the governing documents is $50 and the price for the Rules and Regulations is $10.
  2. CLICK HERE to complete the application for purchase.  Please enter property code 5188.  
  3. The screening company will complete an investigation and notify the management office when the process is complete.  Then, the Screening Committee will review all information gathered and the applicant will be contacted by the management office for an interview.  The complete process may take up to 30 days. 
Note to Seller:
  1. The seller must obtain a "Waiver of First Refusal" from the developer.  Once the "waiver of first refusal " is received please forward a copy to the office.  To obtain a "Wavier of First Refusal" please send a copy of the sales agreement to:

Application for Residency

This application is used for those wishing to apply for residency. Applicants would not be considered a purchaser nor will they be renting a unit. This application is used less often and applicants should contact the office prior to completing.
